St. Charles Catholic School has a very active and exciting Girl Scout Troop! Average size of the troop each year is about 22 girls. Troop leaders and parent volunteers instill a love of service and commitment to making the world a better place.
Some highlights include:
- Participation in the world wide Peace Corps Match Program
- Producing our school's annual Military Appreciation Night, which is running 4 years strong
- Wounded Warriors Service Project with Naval Hospital San Diego
- Box Tops for Education fundraiser for our school
- Tijuana Estuary Clean-up project
- Blanket collection for Tijuana Orphanages
- Toy collection for interfaith Shelter
- Christmas Caroling at local assisted living facilities
- Campus beautification projects
- and many more fund and exciting activities
The troop meets every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, immediately after school, on our campus. All students are welcome!
